Scenic Transfer to the Source of the Nile

Begin your Ugandan adventure with a scenic drive eastward from Kampala to Jinja, the adventure capital of East Africa. Along the way, stop at Ssezibwa Falls for a glimpse into Buganda cultural traditions, and pass through the lush Mabira Forest, one of Uganda’s largest natural rainforests. Arrive in Jinja by early afternoon and visit the Source of the Nile, where Lake Victoria spills into the world’s longest river. Take a boat ride to the exact source point, enjoy the riverside breeze, and explore local craft markets. Check into your lodge along the Nile and relax as the sun sets over the river.

Depart Jinja and journey northeast toward Mount Elgon, with changing landscapes from forest to farmland. Sipi Falls Hike & Coffee Experience

After breakfast, set out on the full Sipi Falls hiking trail, visiting all three spectacular waterfalls. The guided trek takes you through local villages, lush farmlands, and rugged cliffs, with sweeping views of the Elgon escarpment. Along the way, discover unique plants, spot vibrant birdlife, and learn about the region’s natural history. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the Sipi Arabica Coffee Experience. Game Drive & Cultural Visit in Kidepo

Begin the day with a sunrise game drive in the Narus Valley, where lions, elephants, buffalo, and cheetahs roam the open savannah. Later, head north to the Kanangorok Hot Springs, near the South Sudan border keep an eye out for ostriches and kudu along the way. Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, depart Kidepo Valley National Park and begin the journey southwest to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where wild white rhinos roam freely. This full-day drive takes you through the remote Karamoja region, passing traditional homesteads, open plains, and small trading centers. Arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in the late afternoon and check in at your lodge. Rhino Tracking & Scenic Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Start the day with a sunrise game drive in the Buligi sector, one of Murchison’s prime wildlife areas. Drive to Semuliki

In the morning, embark on a 7-hour journey from Murchison Falls to Semuliki National Park, nestled in the western arm of the Rift Valley near the Congo border. Known for its Central African-style lowland rainforest, Semuliki offers a unique ecosystem distinct from the rest of Uganda. Then continue south, ascending into the cool, mist-covered hills of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Set out on the highlight of your safari gorilla trekking in the misty jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After a morning briefing, join a small group and hike through dense vegetation to track a habituated gorilla family. Spend a magical hour observing their behavior up close an experience that leaves a lasting impression. Begin the day with a guided walking safari, one of Uganda’s rare opportunities to explore the bush on foot. Walk among zebra, impala, and other plains game while learning about tracks, plants, and animal behavior from your ranger. After breakfast, take a serene boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a dazzling array of birdlife, including African fish eagles and kingfishers. Horseback Safari & Return to Kampala / Entebbe

Begin your morning with a horseback safari through Lake Mburo’s savannah, a peaceful and unique way to get close to zebra, impala, warthogs, and other wildlife without the hum of an engine. After the ride, relax at the lodge a little bit, enjoy lunch and begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. En route, stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for photos, souvenir shopping, and a brief Coriolis demonstration. Arrive by afternoon and transfer to your hotel or Entebbe International Airport for your departure.
