Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport & Transfer to Lodge
Your Ugandan safari begins the moment you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where a professional English-speaking driver-guide from Enshama Safaris will be waiting to welcome you with a personalized sign. After a brief introduction and assistance with your luggage, you’ll be escorted to your private safari vehicle for a smooth and comfortable transfer. You’ll then drive to your selected accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala, enjoying scenic views and your first feel of Uganda’s vibrant atmosphere. Upon arrival, check in, freshen up, and unwind in a calm, welcoming environment. Depending on your arrival time, meals (lunch, dinner, and breakfast) will be provided. The rest of the evening is at leisure, perfect for relaxing and preparing for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After an early breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting on-foot rhino tracking experience, where you’ll observe Uganda’s only wild rhinos in their natural habitat. Continue the journey with a lunch stop before proceeding to the park. Upon arrival, visit the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile dramatically squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging ????. Later, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Safari
Start your day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank, the best area for wildlife sightings. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and more. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. This is one of the highlights of the safari, offering close views of hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Return to Kampala / Entebbe
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy scenic countryside views with a lunch stop along the way. Arrival is expected in the late afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
