Start with breakfast at your lodge, then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle. Pass vibrant markets and scenic countryside, capturing views of terraced farms and friendly locals. Arrive at your cozy lodge near Bwindi and check in.
After lunch, take a tour through local communities, visiting African craft centers to view and support local artisans. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Your guide will brief you on the next day’s gorilla trek.

After breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for a briefing with expert rangers. Trek through the rainforest to find your assigned gorilla family, spending an unforgettable hour observing silverbacks, playful juveniles, and nurturing mothers. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Optionally, join a guided visit to the Batwa Pygmy community to learn about their traditions, watch dances, and hear ancient forest tales.

Depart Bwindi for a scenic drive to Kibale National Park, passing vibrant tea plantations and rural towns like Ntungamo. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Fort Portal. Check into your lodge and head to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk, spotting birdlife (e.g., Great Blue Turaco) and primates like red colobus monkeys.
Return to your lodge for dinner and relax under the stars, listening to the sounds of the rainforest.

After an early breakfast, transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Center for a chimpanzee trekking briefing at 8:00 AM. Join a small group (maximum 8 people) led by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers to track a habituated chimpanzee troop. The trek lasts 2-3 hours with a 95%+ chance of encountering chimps, spending one hour observing their behaviors.
Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, visit a local community near Bigodi for a 2-hour cultural tour, engaging with Batoro or Bakiga people, learning about their traditions and crafts, and purchasing handmade souvenirs.
