Lake Mburo National Park
Your adventure starts with a warm welcome from a friendly driver-guide at Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala. You’ll travel in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle to Lake Mburo National Park, passing vibrant markets and scenic countryside, with your guide sharing interesting facts about Uganda. Stop at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe for fun photos, a water-flow demonstration, refreshments, and souvenir shopping. Arrive at the park, check into your lodge. Have lunch and relax. Embark on a game drive later in the evening to spot zebras, elands, impalas, and giraffes. Enjoy the park’s open savanna and lake views. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Start the day with an early breakfast, then set out on a guided walking safari. With an armed ranger, explore the park on foot and encounter wildlife such as zebras, topi, buffalo, warthogs and a variety of birds, including the African fish eagle. Return to the lodge for lunch and unwind by the lake. In the afternoon, enjoy a 2-hour boat safari on Lake Mburo, where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds like herons and kingfishers. Later in the evening, an optional night game drive offers the chance to see nocturnal animals such as bushbabies and porcupines. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

After your breakfast, set out on a horseback safari (optional – can be substituted with another game drive). Ride through the savanna with expert guides from Mihingo Lodge, getting a close-up view of zebras and antelopes. Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by check-out. Depart for Kampala or Entebbe at 1:00 PM, with an expected arrival between 5:00 and 6:00 PM. If time permits, you may stop at a local craft market in Masaka along the way.
